Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the 2021 Grammys are being postponed. The show was originally scheduled for January 31st but is now being planned for sometime in March, according to Rolling Stone.
Even before the move organizers were planning on producing the show with very limited human interaction. They were planning on having no audience and only performers and presenters physically at the show. Winners would most likely accept and give their acceptance speeches remotely. Normally, the show would take place at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles in front of a large crowd. Organizers had not named a venue for the show but it is believed it would take place in the downtown Los Angeles area.
