July 14, 2026 – One of the brightest young guitar players has just released a brand new single – ‘Amethyst’. Aanika Pai, at just 13 years old, is establishing herself as one of the most exciting guitar players in the world. Having several videos on her Instagram – aanika_pai – go viral over the last couple of years and being praised by some of industry’s biggest names, Annika is well on her way to doing what she wants to do as a career.. Being a professional guitarist and recording artist.
I stumbled upon her IG one day while the algorithm was sending me guitar shred Reels (like most days). I witnessed Aanika absolutely ripping the solo to ‘Lucretia’ by Megadeth. I was hooked and down the rabbit hole I went. I was blown away at how many guitar players and musician’s were dropping in to encourage and cheer her on. This is one of the few things I truly enjoy about social media. This is what it’s all about, folks!
Aanika and I sat down for a chat to discuss all of that and much more. She is intelligent, lucid and laser focused on perfecting her craft. This will serve her well in the future. It is a future that I am confident will be bright and fulfilling. I’m looking forward to watching her continue to grow as a musician and terrific person. The sky truly is the limit!
