Bad Bunny – Booker T
International music star, Bad Bunny, has unveiled his new video for his single “Booker T”. The video features pro-wrestler, Booker T, dressed as his G.I. Bro persona.
The new single is off of his most recent album, ‘El Último Tour Del Mundo’. The album is the first Spanish-only album to reach number on the Billboard 200 charts. Bad Bunny has also been called “the world’s biggest pop star” and Spotify named him the most streamed artist of 2020 on their platform.
Bad Bunny is no stranger to professional wrestling as he has talked about the influence wrestling has had on his music in the past. He has even used Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Undertaker in the past on different projects. Bad Bunny has had famous cameos in the past. Other Bad Bunny videos had cameos from Ricky Martin, Sofia Vergara, and Snoop Dogg.
‘El Último Tour Del Mundo’ is the third album Bad Bunny has released this year and came out in November. The album followed his other 2020 releases ‘YHLQMDLG’ and ‘Las Que No Iban a Salir’.
Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico and initially gained fame on SoundCloud. He has collaborated with artists such as J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, and Cardi B. Along with being the most streamed artist of 2020 he is also the first non-English speaking artist to receive that distinction from Spotify.
Booker T began his wrestling career in the Houston area in 1989 and debuted the G.I. Bro character shortly after he began training. Booker T gained national fame in the mid-90s when he wrestled in WCW with his brother as a tag team called Harlem Heat. Booker T would go on to become WCW Heavyweight Champion as a singles wrestler. After WWE purchased WCW in 2001 he would become WWE Heavyweight Champion as well.
