Fan vote to decide best Harry Styles Cover Song is happening now over at Polltab – you can make your own selection HERE

I announced the poll on Twitter:

Styles has quite the cover song catalog.  Over the years he has played live shows that included duets and covers with artists such as Stevie Nicks and Kacey Musgraves.  Harry has also covered many hits from the past as well as today with songs like the Joni Mitchell classic – Big Yellow Taxi and Lizzo’s – Juice.

If that was it, that would be enough to satisfy his most diehard fans but there’s more.  Much more.  And I’ll tell you something else: Harry Styles does not always play it safe.  Look no further than Kanye West’s – Ultralight Beam or Little Big Town’s – Girl Crush.

He gets everyone in the holiday spirit by performing one of the Christmas songs of Christmas songs in the legendary Paul McCartney (ever hear of him?) classic – Wonderful Christmastime.  But in true Harry Styles fashion, he covers a song he wrote for Ariana Grande called ‘Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart’.  I guess you could say that he took it back, at least for one night.

The song that started this whole Styles journey for me was his cover of Peter Gabriel’s – Sledgehammer on the Howard Stern Show.  It was both amazing and iconic at the same time.  At the time, it seemed like it had the potential to be a torch passing moment from one Englishman to another.  Turns out I was on the right track.
