For Indie Pop-Rock band Fox Royale, 2022 has shaped up to be a pretty marvelous year. Playing shows, growing their fanbase, announcing their first national headlining tour, creating music and really nailing a radio friendly song with their latest – ‘Carnival Gods’.
You love to see a band work as hard as Fox Royale does. Combine that with some great music and IMO you have a winning formula. For Carnival Gods the band teamed up with with co-songwriter Nickolas Wheeler of The All-American Rejects to bring this song to life. The track was also produced at Wheelhouse Studios in Nashville, TN, and it is going to be featured on a new EP next year.
Speaking of coming to life. The song has so many elements that I feel make this an easy one to eventually dominate on the airwaves. It has a big sound and anthemic feel to it. And heck I’ll just be honest.. It’s hooky as hell. I’ve been humming this tune for the last couple of days. I’m into the single tracked vocal that explodes off the speaker when the chorus kicks in. The transition from the bridge to the outro is smooth and is really nicely done. Side note – Starting the track with a nice fuzzy base will always get kudos from me.
Off to give this one anther spin. Excited for for more music from Fox Royale.
