2022 has turned out to be a pretty great year for the band Everclear. Touring, reissuing a rare and majorly sought after album and writing new music has kept Art Alexakis a very busy man. After speaking with him, I get the feeling he wouldn’t have it any other way.
While plotting out and playing shows around the globe, Alexakis decided to launch a re-issue of Everclear’s 1993 debut album – World Of Noise. This is a highly sought after record in the collector market.
For me, personally, I love the album’s rawness and energy. I have been listening to it since it was re-issued in June. I had the chance to sit down with Art to discuss how the reissue came about as well as how the tour experience has been so far. He also talks about a new track that was going to be released (which actually happened last week) called ‘Year of the Tiger‘.
