After The Storm was originally released on June 17, 2003 and hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200. The LP was executive produced by Missy Elliott who is also featured on two tracks, with additional features by DMX, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, and Tyrese. That same year, the album’s lead single “So Gone” hit #10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100, ranking with Beyonce‘s “Crazy in Love” and 50 Cent‘s “21 Questions” and was given a second life in 2016 thanks to the #sogonechallenge which saw the single enjoy a 407 percent increase in sales and found Kevin Hart, Chance the Rapper and Dwayne Wade getting in on the action.
