Skid Row and earMUSICjoin forces to announce the release of the anticipated new studio album The Gang’s All Here on October 14. This announcement coincides with the launch of the iconic hard rock band’s Las Vegas Residency (as the Scorpions’ special guests) on March 26, as well as the debut of their brand new single and the title track “The Gang’s All Here.”
A lot of bands will tell you that their latest release is one of their best ever. In this rare case: IT IS ALL TRUE. Skid Row has managed to not only turn back the clock (go listen to the vocal on the title track) but they’ve also produced a fresh sound without losing the soul of the band.
I was already completely into the “The Gang’s All Here” but then that bridge jumped in. It was short and to the point but the goosebumps remained. “Nobody’s waiting for the wolves to come home”. Go listen. You’ll thank me later.
“The Gang’s All Here” is an oath of triumph, exploding with powerful energy that makes us hunger for more. It is the logical next-generation leap of the band’s trademark sound that stomps out new ground — with singer Erik Grönwall (formerly of H.E.A.T, one of the best frontmen of this or any hard rock era) joining the family.
Produced by Grammy winner Nick Raskulinecz, a world-renowned producer (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Evanescence) and longtime fan, Skid Row are ablaze. They are re-energized, kicking their sound way up to modern hard rock royalty.
