Album Sales Chart: Week Ending 11/14/19 – Luke Combs New #1

Luke Combs has the number one album in the country after dropping an impressive 177,000 albums this week.  His record What You See Is What You Get is a seventeen track album that features the insanely popular (and super catchy) Beer Never Broke My Heart.  This figure is including album sales + album equivalents coming from streaming.  This is noteworthy because a lot of times the artist that sells the most albums isn’t always crowned number one when all of the equivalents are accounted for.  No worries this week because Combs led all other artists when combined together, as well.  Actual album sales were 114.5K and equivalents were 61.5K.

All in all this has been one heck of a week for the newly crowned CMA ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’.  While this is his first album to go number one on the Billboard 200, it’s not his first as the top album on the US Country Chart.  In short, he is as hot as it gets in the music business and I don’t see any slow down in the near future.

The rest of the top five finished out this way:

2.  Post Malone – Hollywoods Bleeding – 73.5K

3.  Youngboy Never Broke Again – AI Youngboy 2 – 49.9K

4.  Summer Walker – Get Over It – 48.4K

5.  Kanye West – Jesus Is King – 41.4K
