The music scene for independent artists has changed in many ways over the last ten years.  There are multiple outlets for musicians to release their music through.  You can sell through massive platforms like iTunes and Amazon Music, keep greater control over things like pricing through Bandcamp and of course, making your music available for streaming through mammoths like Spotify and YouTube.  There are many others as well.  Setting up a virtual store through CD Baby or Tune Core is a breeze and since we are closer to the digital age than ever before, these options offer all artists their own piece of the distribution pie.

I had the opportunity to interview three different artists that are all on their musical journey but in different places on that super highway of musical careers.  They all have one common denominator though.  They’ve all been inspired to make and release music for the world to hear.

All three artists bring their own experience, sound, passion and viewpoint to the discussion.  Click on the link below to listen to our conversation and you will get an inside look at the high’s and low’s of being an independent artist in today’s music climate.

Make sure to click on each of the artist’s social links and say hello.  I’m sure they would love to hear from you!

Enjoy!
