The Goo Goo Dolls are set to release their first album in three years. Miracle Pill will be released on 09.13.19 via Warner Records.
The third single to come from Miracle Pill is the feel good Indestructible. This song really marries that old school Goo Goo Dolls feel with those acoustic guitars and slightly distorted electric guitars during the pre-chrous with new school sounding drums and anthemic feel. They do the latter without losing too much of the good thing that gained them millions of fans.
The unmistakable sound of Johnny Rezeznik’s voice fills this song and you may feel the urge to sing along. Something I’m sure Rezeznik would love to hear at a Goo Goo Dolls show. If there’s a new song that calls for it, this song it that. All of that, plus a stellar mix, leaves us with a teriffic single choice for the band. I feel like this is one of those songs that could stay with the band as they tour years from now. Go take a listen and if you feel the urge to bob-along. Just do it without hesitation, because I certainly did.
