As American Idol contestants prepare to sing from Jewel’s iconic songbook tonight, they’ll get quite the surprise duet partner in the Grammy-nominated musician herself. A special part of Idol’s “All-Star Duets Week,” Jewel will be among the celebrity guests mentoring and singing her timeless originals with this season’s Top 24 contestants as they vie for spots in the show’s final live rounds. Jewel’s performances take place tonight on ABC nationally at 8PM ET/PT.

Jewel’s renowned catalogue will be celebrated on American Idol as part of the latest in a year-long celebration of her remarkable career to date; including a 25th anniversary reissue of her landmark 12x platinum debut ‘Pieces of You’ last November.
