Samantha Leigh is about to released her debut record on November 14, 2019. The six song EP, Perfect Ground, features the lead single Too Scared. Recorded at Fish Tank Studios and produced/mixed by Lucio Rubino – Too Scared is a big sounding, expertly produced song that is not only pleasing to the ear but also to the feet, which in turn, might feel the need to get up and dance. It’s a really fun song, musically and the half-time rhythm in the second part of the choruses really let’s the song breathe.
Vocally, Leigh has all the chops of a seasoned pro. That’s because, while this is her debut album, she’s been a professional touring musician for nearly fifteen years. Leigh tells Sound Vapors, “I’ve been singing full time since 2005. I’ve been blessed to have a career in music. I’ve sang all across the board. Theme parks, cruise ships, weddings, corporate bands, original music, opening acts, back ground singing, jingles.. anything that can get me out there musically! I left on a cruise ship last November and I toured South America and that was an interesting fun ride. I just back to Florida in June. I’ve made it my goal to release this music, finally and make something of it.”
She’s here now and we are days away from her music being released officially to the world. She has everything going for her. She has a great voice, killer sounding record, a look that could easily land her on the cover of any country music magazine and now all she needs is everyone to take a listen. Trust me, the table is set for her. Now it’s time for everyone to hear this former Tampa Bay Idol Winner for themselves.
