Are you looking for a new favorite band during this twilight of summer? Look no further than Summer Salt out of Austin, Texas. Their brand new EP – Honeyweed just came out and is already making waves on Spotify. The title track is the perfect song to go cruising down the highway, with that warm summer air blowing through your hair. In fact, the entire record feels like a day at the beach. Like a full day.
Fading Away has me dreaming of catching a wave in the crisp ocean while Magic Boy and Little Chimmy has me reaching for my hoodie and laying back in the sand in front of a fire looking up at the starts listening to the tide crashing in.
Coming up, is waking from a decent slumber and greeting the rising sun with a thumbs up. Full Catastrophe is me wandering back to civilization looking for a morning meal. Too perfect (or wayy out there)? Maybe, but the record gave me those feels. And I can’t get enough of it.
